USA Truck is a publicly traded company headquartered in Van Buren, AR, and is
authorized to run all 48 contiguous states and southern portions of Canada. USA
Truck has several divisions consisting of over the road, dedicated, regional,
teams and owner operators. The over the road fleets can expect most of their
runs to be medium haul (between 700 and 1100 miles). USA Truck hauls "dry
freight" (not refrigerated) and services several Fortune 500 companies. USA
Truck is a truckload, general carrier - this means they primarily haul full
trailers of a single company's freight to the location the customer chooses.
The USA Truck sales team focuses their efforts in order to get freight that has
only one stop when appropriate.
USA Truck is proud of their pay on delivery, and a 90% no touch freight system.
USA Truck provides their drivers with late model Freightliner and International
conventional tractors that are professionally maintained. Recent investments in
equipment have included air ride trailers and brand new tractors - all designed
to make "life on the road" a little easier. All of their tractors also have
Qualcomm satellite communications equipment, featuring "In-Cab Email" for
sending messages over the Internet to family and friends. You will be assigned
your own truck and will not have to share it once you have completed all the
training requirements. When you go on home time you can park your truck at home
if approved by your Fleet Manager, or another approved location, drop yard or
terminal. Simply put, they take a lot of pride in their equipment and drivers.
That's why they call their drivers "Top Guns."
CDL Training Sponsorship Program.
No Upfront Tuition cost
Under their program, new drivers pay only $1095 of the full $5995 tuition cost -
USA Truck will pick up the rest. And you pay nothing upfront. Here's how it
works:
Through the Driver Solutions company-sponsored training program, you will delay
your training cost until you are well established in your new driving career.
By choosing the USA Truck's sponsorship, you won't pay the regular full tuition
of $5,995. Instead, USA Truck has agreed to sponsor the first $4,900 of the
tuition. Your commitment to the training cost is $1,095, paid at the end of
your first year of employment with the company.
